Well I don't know if there was some particular issue that your connection faced this morning but it happens sometimes. I am sure it was very frustrating.
I don't know if it will be any consolation to you but I looked and saw that you had only lost 14 games by abandonment over your many year 9,369-game history and had won 200 that way.
After being a member for many years I'm canceling my membership. Chess.com has technical issues with it that forced three aborted games in a row. I lost elo on all three aborted games, even though I didn't make a move and didn't abort the games. When I tried to contact support they failed to understand the issue, even though it is clear from looking at my history that I lost elo with each aborted game. Anyways canceling, moving over to Lichess, you all should do the same.
