Cannot review game of Chess960

I just played my first game of Chess960, and it's incredibly janky... For some reason the whole UI is completely different, like it was programmed by a completely different team, even though it's the exact same game, just with the starting positions randomized.

But I'm willing to put that aside - if not for the fact that it's not possible to review or analyse my game, in any way.

The archive allows me to download or save my "PGN4", but I am unable to load this into the chess.com engine to get a review, best moves, mistakes, recommendations, engine moves, etc. It just fails to load as invalid.

I don't just want to look at how the pieces moved - I want to see blunders and mistakes. Why is this feature not implemented?

If you play 960 on the main Live server, you should be able to run a review on those games. The ones on the Variants server might be possible if you edit the PGN.

Just looked at the PGN exported from there and it doesn't include the starting position and doesn't use standard algebraic move notation. You might ask in the Variants club; that section of the site had separate developers so they may be able to answer why the PGN isn't standard for 960.

Thanks - Took a several google searches to find out how to do this.

They don't make it easy - Almost every URL and page directs you to the variants. E.g: https://www.chess.com/terms/chess960

For those wondering how, go to normal matchmaking, and click the "Custom" dropdown, then scroll up to the top of the page, and change the "Standard" dropdown to "Chess960".
