Can't Change Username

I've never seen a similar post. Can you provide a screenshot without your new name showing?

whatever username i try it says this : {"message":"Form is not valid.","errors":{"change_username":"This form should not contain extra fields

and im meeting all the require ments

I found out after my previous post it's probably related to accounts that sign in with linked authentication (Google, Facebook) and not an associated password. I believe you'll need a password assigned to the account to change the username. If you contact Support directly using the option in the menu they should be able to help

how do i assighn a password can i make a new username and assighn a password to that would that work?

You might be able to do it by using the Forgot password option when logged out but if that doesn't work you'll need to contact Support directly
