Can't Promote Pawn in Daily Chess

I have tried several times to promote a pawn to a queen in my Daily Chess game in the last 30 to 45 minutes and it will not allow it.  

I tried on an Android phone (not the app), Amazon tablet and Dell laptop, all unsuccessfully.  I even once tried underpromoting to a rook.  No luck.

What's going on?

That's correct.

Yes, I may have to do that.  Without being able to promote here I cannot win.

Try changing your Animation type under Settings > Board and Pieces to something other than Arcade or Natural if that is what is set.

You mighttry clearing your browser cache if that animation type isn't set. Finally, try in private,/incognito mode to see if a plug-in/add-on is blocking something.

I was able to do it in Analysis.

I have now successfully made the move on Microsoft Edge.  But I think it may have nothing to do with what browser I made the move on.  I think I may have time and time again neglected to hit the confirmation checkmark, probably because of the added step involved in the pawn promotion.
