charged after free trial expired

Hello,

I accidentally let my free trial go past the trial period and my credit card was billed $127. This is not something I intended. While I really enjoyed the premium features, and will likely intend to purchase a subsciption in the future, I'm not in a position to spend that amount of money right now. Can I please get my premium subscription cancelled with a refund?

Thank you,

Matthew

For such cases it is better to make a ticket rather than a topic:

Yeah I saw that free offer and thought, this is sweet. Then they asked for a credit card..... I'm not stupid lol. I don't own one and even if I did I wouldn't have done it for this reason. If it's truly a free offer with no obligation, there is no need for us to have to give that information. Hope you get your money back OP.

chess.com is greedy and won't refund you your money. why do you think they REQUIRE your credit card information for a free trial? I'll tell you why. It is so people like you forget about it and chess.com rubs your cash all over its rapacious body. You must learn to live with ugly diamond next to your name.
I hope the free trial was worth it for you. It was certainly worth it for chess.com

You obviously have no idea what you're talking about!

Stop scaring him for nothing. He can get it fully refunded IF he does not also forget this within 30 days.

Thanks VyboR.

You'll definitely get a refund, just contact our billing department. We just ask for CC info to prevent users from claiming multiple free trials.
