Chat is not working

I have a problem. I've been using the chat a lot with my friend and it's been fine. But all of a sudden it's not working. I typed a message earlier today and I got an error saying "Failed to send message". So I refreshed the page, now the chat was blank. So I logged off and logged back in. Now the chat option is gone and I don't know what to do. I know @C9_Narwhal has the same problem.  Anyone know how to fix the problem?

just search around in the off topic forums

search a few forums named rip, the write will be bongcloud idk his exact name either

It worked when I clicked the @ and the name.

But now it doesn't anymore.

same. When I clicked I first it worked but not anymore

It disappeared for a few minutes about an hour and 3/4 ago, then came back up, and I was successfully able to sent a chat to somebody about 30-45 minutes ago, but then sent a second message, and it disappeared again.

And, at this particular moment (4:13 Eastern Time) it's back up

It works now but it keeps not working and working randomly

I had the same problem and I just left it until the next day, try that...

its either your muted, or your internet is bad because chat never works when the internet is bad

I'm obviously not muted xD.  and it happened to a lot of people at the same time so I'm not sure if it's the internet. Also I'm pretty sure my internet was fine. but nice ideas and thanks dude
