Chess.com breaks at 500 Moves

Hi, I made another copy of this forum in Witty_Aliens Club, but nobody seems to know whats going on, so I'm reposting it here. 

So I'm in this daily chess game with a friend of mine, and since the game was pretty much over, I decided I wanted to checkmate him on move 1000 since I still had plenty of untouched pawns ready to stop the 50-move rule. However, once we got to move 500, the game froze, and we cant move. I'm not really worried about losing since its unrated, but I'm a bit sad about not making it to 1000 moves. I know I've seen Hikaru get to like 800ish moves in a live game in TT before, but I've never seen this long of a game in daily until now. The 50 move rule is also not the problem for anyone wondering, I moved a pawn every 40-49 moves.

Anyone think they know why?
