Chess.com not accepting card?

I have recently sparked interest in chess.com and thought i would pay for membership. I put in my credit card details and it says check credentials and try again. I have tried again countless times and even came back two days later with the same problem, its not a prepaid card. Help would be appreciated.

You'll have to contact Billing directly to find out why.  Any chance it's a debit card?  Don't think they take those.  There's a Contact Us link in the upper right hand corner...  Good luck!

Use a different card. Not all card types are accepted by the payment processor and cards that don't allow subscriptions won't work for anything but a one time gift.

In tunisia we are not allowd to pay with an international card if you want give me a platinum membership and thanks

I have tried countless times still the same error occurs "Your transaction failed, please check your card details and try again", and I raised complaint regarding the same but still the situation is same.

i had the same problem for a gift.
When I tried to buy the gift I did it from a webpage without being logged-in and I had the error message.
Then I logged-in and I succeded to buy the same gift with the same card that was not accepted before.
maybe is a bug

That's likely something you like need to check with your payment provider.

PSA: I believe despite not requiring you to be logged in to send gifts, you do actually have to make an account to gift someone a subscription. I was trying to send a subscription and was getting the same "transaction failed" message, but when I logged into my chess.com account and gifted a subscription from there it worked fine.
