Chess.com trying to force me to buy a membership?

Up until recently playing on chess.com has been great! Having never had a problem I've really enjoyed being able to play for free on here and I've even been considering purchasing a membership, that is until recently... It started a few days ago while playing, that my game started lagging very badly. It was annoying at first, but after diciding it must be a bad time to play I took a break and came back later. The problems continued except this time it would lag so much my game would completely freeze. I can assure you the problems aren't coming from my laptop or internet. I Finally figured out that the live chess page would keep loading ads (even though it had already loaded ads) non stop until my game lagged me out or froze completly. Having scoured the google for a fix or someone who's had this problem before, I came up with nothing. Until I got message this morning from chess.com advertising their memberships. This timing seems very coincidental and I can't help but think chess.com does this on purpose trying to get people to upgrade to their ad free memberships. The main reason of this post was to find out if any other users have had this problem and if so do you know a fix or how long it lasts? - Thanks
Scoured the google? And yet no solutions?
I don't believe you. This problem has come up dozens of times in the forums and many people have posted solutions.
Hint: Search the forums for "annoying ads".
