Haha I don't know if I can help you out, KnightNotHorse, but I did find myself hilarously mildly offended.
Here some of my friends were "LIVE!".
I was like, what does that make me? An existential crisis ensued... am I not truly living unless I'm playing live chess? Am I a mere shade in hades for playing coorespondence?
And still the chill light beamed at me, it's menacing beacon.
Live!! It said. Live!!... LIVE!!!
I looked upon that red blinking beacon and I knew it's hateful implication.
I'm not fully living, no. Not until I face the full intensity of blitz, yes, then I will be living.
For now, I stare from the sidelines and imagine the fun my living friends are having.

I gotta tell ya, I feel like a total idiot asking this, but I love the change you guys made to the "online status" icons, so I want to understand them. Let's see if I have the definitions right:
New Red "Live" online icon: online playing LIVE chess only.
New Green "Live" online icon: online on chess.com AND playing live chess. If I am right on this one so far, then what is the difference between the red and the green one? Because, even for the red icon, even though you are playing live chess, you still have to be logged onto chess.com, so wouldn't that make the new red and the new green live icon the same? Not sure how those differ....
Original green online icon: on the chess.com website, but not on live chess.
Any help that anyone can offer would be appreciated...as long as you are not laughing at me while doing it.
