Clock glitch

Over the past few days I have lost a number of matches in the following situation: the opponent is losing and at a pivotal moment appear to be stalling with their clock running down; eventually the match ends and I lose with the clock on my end showing it has run out, or in some cases the review stating I have abandoned the game. This has happened both off and on wifi, so it doesn’t seem to be a connection issue on my end. Anyone know what’s going on?
Same thing has been happening to me recently!!

It happens in pivotal moments as the the advantage has swung to me. The clock ticks away on my opponent, then at the last moment their piece moves, restoring their time and zeroing my clock out for all the time they took. Then these are the opponents that ask for rematches, almost as if they have a hack.
Same here. This site is such a turd.
I've lost 2 games now because of this stupid glitch. Fix this Chess.com!!!

Your opponents can't impact your connection or clocks.

It's a connection problem. The opponent already made a move but your recieve the data and therefore the move doesn't display.
Now I just lost by abandonment… while I’m staring at the screen waiting for opponent. I’ve only used 2 seconds of the game. Blows my mind that people pay for this broken service.
