Coach dialog bug?

Lately whenever I do the lessons, everything the coach says gets squeezed into this unnecessarily narrow dialog box which usually can't even fit all the words. I'll have to move the cursor over the speech bubble and then use the mouse scroll wheel just to read the whole thing.
This never used to happen until a few days ago. Are they trying to fix it? Here's an example, and as you can see there's no shortage of unused space below so I'm not sure why they suddenly decided to treat it as off-limits.
