Configuring modes: challenge, friendly, assisted, or custom on the browser...

When playing a bot, while using my chess.com app on my phone, I have the option to choose modes: challenge, friendly, assisted, or custom.

Is that available on the laptop via web browser and if so where is it and how might I configure that?

Yes. As soon as you choose the bot you'll have that option. It's located just below the bot

I like to play bots in the assisted mode but I am no longer able to select it. After I choose a bot there is a options selection under the bots where the customization screen used to be. How can I get the customization screen back? Thanks

That was removed in the newest version, unless you're playing a non-personality bot.

Found out that customization options will be coming back on personality bots.

I hope they bring back all these features and also the custom starting position on bot play. The bot play features were really great and also a major reason I suscribe to chess.com.

I think Custom positions will only be available through using the Analysis board and using the Finish vs Computer option

yes, i follow those steps for custom positions: first go to analysis, import FEN, then finish against computer, finally at the board i change computer to the desired bot

I enjoy using Custom position/modes while playing bots; a major reason for keeping my subscription with Chess.com.

If not revived will search other Chess apps.
