Country of Origin

Hi Chess.com

I am so focussed on chess that it was only today whilst waiting for a move that I noticed something  seriously wrong with with my country of origin flag.  You show the Union Flag which is the flag of the United Kingdom.  I live in England which is one of three major countries that make up the U.K. - the other two being Scotland and Wales - I note members from these countries do not play under the United Kingdon flag, they play under the flag of their own country. I would like to play under the colours of my country, England please. Our flag is that of St George a red cross and white background.  This is not a wind up or a tonque in cheek jest- I am very serious.  Either Scotland and Wales fly the UK flag or all three countries must have the right to fly their own flags.  If this message is added to a general forum and not read by the people that can do something about it, perhaps other members could help me finding a way to commicate with those whose responsibiltiy it is to listen and act. Many thanks

Chancydog.

The 'colours of your country' are both the flag of the union and the flag of st george, similarly for Scotland and Wales.  The only difference is in narrowing down your location a little.

Its no joke, you want to swap Old Glory for some other the bit of cloth? The United Kingdom has the same Queen but is three different countries.

I think there is a fair to moderate chance that you are mentally retarded.

Hi there Beelzebub- you  seemed to have missed the point but you could be right  mental retardment because I see you fly under the flag of st George, and the flag of the Uk  so it is possible.  Why are you berating me becuase I want to do the same???
