My PC is having major issues with chess.com now on Chrome. 50%plus utilization. Slowing down to the point of delayed moves. It's ruining the fun on a 5 minute game. Any suggestions? Should I change some settings?

I also have the exact same issue in 2017. With both firefox and chrome. Why do only some users have the problem? Are there any options in the browser regarding java script that need to be changed?
