Custom Game Rating Range doesn't work

So, I am trying to do custom games for 1 day. I usually set a range of -25 to +200 or -100 to +400. But recently I get a lot of games of players with a rating of up to 200 points lower than my rating. What is the point of the rating range when I am not getting player out of that range anyway?

So, it happened again. I just created a custom 1 day challenge with rating range -25 to +400 (my rating is 765) and the opponent I was matched up with has a rating of 413. I should have gotten a opponent with a range 740 to 1165 points. So what's up with that? Any thoughts?

Same for me. Today I got paired with someone about 1000 points lower, even though I specified -25 to +200. Happened over the last few days as well, although not as much of a large discrepancy. This never used to happen, although it would often take a very long time to get paired up--especially in Chess960.

Chess.com replied to me and told me it's a know bug and they working on to fix it.

There is another annoying thing: chess.com deliberately wants you to play with no minimum rating given! And they will sneakily make you do so! Example:

- you play a custom game with minimum rating

- you then click "Play another"

- but this new game no longer has the limits applied! In order to have them, you need to go back and again click the custom game. That is misleading and intentional!
Chess.com, please do better.

When I customized my play to have +200, it applies this for 5 minute games but then reverts back to my rating level only - when I choose 10 minutes even though +200 is still specified. Plus, I think it actually chose +200, it seemed to be +117.

That is the max rating over your current rating. The actual rating of your opponents can be anywhere in the range
