I have some daily chess games where my opponents give up or run out of time and it says they still have 60 seconds left.....for the last few weeks now, anybody else have that problem?

Vacation. They are on vacation.
If you click on the game info, it will tell you how much they have left
I have had that issue in the past, where my opponent will get down to minutes, and it takes days to end. The game will end eventually.
Those opponents have timed out.
There is a switch in the daily settings which allows you to instantly claim a win when a daily game times out. This switch is probably turned off in your daily settings. When the switch is off, the game won't actually timeout for another two months.

Weird. Usually you click on the info tab and it tells you how long they have left.
