Delete forum post - how?

Haha, that would be awesome though...
teasing :D
should be a little red button.
I sure was hoping that, Erik!
Yes, there is a red edit and a red delete button - but only on posts that I have made. I thought as group administrator I was able to delete posts others have made also. How do I do that?
We're sorry, for now, you can only delete entire threads (if you go in the tread, there will be red links ALL the way up). Until we add further functionality, if you need just a specific post deleted, let me know, I can take care of it. (You can let me know privately if you want to)
Ok, I understand. Thanks for the info.
That added functionality would sure be helpful. But I can work with what we have for the time being.

My question is, can you really delete entire threads / posts ?
I tried this a few times, and I can still access those posts. My impression is that they get "blocked' and not "deleted". Which means you guys keep every post in the memory. It would be nice if I could just delete my own posts or threads entirely. And this is not just for me, but for all other members of chess com who may come across some posts , find the title interesting and obviously click to read and then find themselves facing a page which says "the post is no longer available " or "is blocked".This is such a waste of time.
I hope you understand my point of view.If it is a feature only for members who pay, please do consider make some changes to the rule. It would save you a lot of memory space.
Thanks for reading.
I must be missing something pretty obvious. I am a super-administrator of a group. I thought there is some way I can delete someone else's post in a forum thread. But I don't see how to. Help!
