He's not cheating at all, nor was his play unsportsmanlike. For the record, the position WAS repeated. Look at move 43, 47, and 51. They all end the same.

First of all, it's unsportsmanlike to call your opponent names.

Second, the draw "bug" was not a bug at all - the position was repeated 3 times: on the 51st move, on the 47th move and on the 43th move - a textbook draw by perpetual check and 3-fold repetition of the position.

The postion was repeated three times.  You might want to take the time to learn the rules of chess, instead of putting that time into attacking people.

26...Qd1+  27. Qxd1 Rxd1+  28. Nf1 Rac8 with Rcc1 wins easily and time woudn't be a factor.

Another astute comment Rich--Nakamura who is an OK player plays it.

Looks like the same position repeated numerous times so the draw seems to be within the rules.

It isnt repeated... ??? my king moves between 3 different squares never the same 2 squares 3 times in a row, i dont get it

The 3 moves need not be consectutive. It's the same position with the same player to move at any time.

The game is drawn upon a correct claim by the player having the move, when the same position, for at least the third time (not necessarily by a repetition of moves):

a.

is about to appear, if he first writes his move on his scoresheet and declares to the arbiter his intention to make this move, or

b.

has just appeared, and the player claiming the draw has the move.

Positions as in (a) and (b) areconsidered the same, if the same player has the move, pieces of the same kind and colour occupy the same squares, and the possible moves of all the pieces of both players are the same.
Positions are not the same if a pawn that could have been captured en passant can no longer be captured in this manner. When a king or a rook is forced to move, it will lose its castling rights, if any, only after it is moved.

Ok I guess it was fair if id known that i could have defended, thought the moves had to be consecutive.

Just remember the definition of a draw "A position where the game cannot go any further in progress with out one player making a mistake"

Just to clear up any potential misunderstanding, my information was not obtained via Wikipedia, rather the one-man lunar mission I completed in 1968 to create the perfect sandwich.

That couldn't be true, the martians traveled to the moon and mined it all. The sound they made was confused with Sputnik.
