false banning

Recently, a friend of mine had been banned from chess.com for assault. However, this was not the case. She was mass-reported by a known troll and hadn’t been online since eleven days prior to the incident occurring. If you could help us get justice, please do what you can. Her former account is @Bobcatz

Mass reporting will not result in account closure without some TOS related violations found by staff

However, you can agree that this isn’t exactly fair, seeing as the fact that this wasn’t a report made by anyone who was offended, and was made purely to get her banned. This does not seem in the least bit fair, even if she might have said something that could have offended people. We have neo-nazis and racists get muted in this community, but we ban someone who is appreciated?

Doing something against the TOS risks and account being banned, regardless of how justified the member may feel doing that something.
