Please restore the Flip Board icon.

I just checked and at least on my end, I still see it. Maybe it's just a temporary bug/glitch. In the meantime, if you are on PC, then Ctrl+X flips the board and if on Mobile then you can "pinch and twist" on the screen to flip the board too.

The Ctl+X works on my PC but I can't flip the board on my Android phone. There is no mechanism to to flip it. Your "pinch and twist" method doesn't work on my Samsung. I need Chess.com to restore the icon. Thankyou for responding. gold

If you're using Desktop mode on your browser it's beside the board

The Flip Board may not display until you HOVER in the top right margin of the board.

That works on a PC but not with a phone browser. I don't see the right side of the board on my phone browser. I've tried several phone browsers. I can't hover with a phone display to make the right-side of the board appear.

For phone users, this is a workaround for those who want to analyze a game from Black's perspective.

  1. Load the game into Analysis
  2. Scroll down below the moves to find the three dots . . .
  3. Tap the 3 dots and tap Share Game. A popup window appears
  4. In the PGN box tap on the copy icon and close the popup window
  5. Below the moves tap New (analysis)
  6. Tap Setup position
  7. In the PGN box press and hold on the text and tap Select All followed by Paste
  8. Find and tap the Flip Board icon (check that the board has flipped with Black pieces at the bottom)
  9. Finally, tap Load (The game should now appear in Analysis with Black pieces at the bottom)

It's only on Desktop mode. I tested before posting

It's possible it's a bug on mobile optimized web and staff are looking into it

The other thing gone in the latest changes is the Go To Analysis option in Puzzles. After the puzzle was completed, this option appeared and gave an easy option to load the puzzle in Analysis. That's gone now in the phone browser.

I'm still seeing that.

Does it load the puzzle or just open a new Analysis board? My phone browser just loads a new Analysis board.

It's showing the puzzle before the computer move, for a puzzle that the other side moves initial.

That's how it works on PC. If the solution is played out, the moves will also appear in Analysis.

However, that function has gone from the phone browser version. The magnifying glass icon below the puzzle is gone from the phone browser version.
