How can I change the font of a forum comment I am composing?

Board diagrams printed with characters, as done by a lot of chess problem solving software, need to be written in a fixed-width font like Courier New for the board to have the proper appearance.

When creating a new topic on the website you can change to a few fonts.

But that's not available on replies. You could use copy/paste from formatted text in that case and it should work.

Thanks, Martin. You said I could choose a font when creating a new post. That's what I do when replying to someone else's post. Did you mean creating a new topic?

I tried copy/paste of a board diagram from a properly formatted Word document but it showed up in the reply box with the same font as everything else typed there, so that didn't work. Anything else I could try?

The forum reply box allows selection of color and font size. What about adding font type?

Yeah, I meant Topic in the first reply and have edited it.
