Hello everyone, I was recently given a free trial of diamond, im wondering if I have to cancel it after it ends(change back to gold), or will it automatically go back to gold.

If it was something the site provided or was gifted, it should have paused your Gold and your  gold will start back when the diamond ends.

My Gold membership expires tomorrow and I have been contemplating upgrading to Diamond. How to I get a free Diamond trial to see if it would be worth my $$?

Not sure you can get a trial but you can wait to see if you offered that when your gold expires. If not, you can always double-check with support.
