Gaining <8 elo for wins against similar rated opposition:
Hello all,
My chess account is an alt account that I created to have privacy due to the pressure of playing on my main account, which sits at around 2200 in rapid.
For my first rapid win on this account I gained 119 elo as expected.
For my second win, I gained 3, which is absurdly low, at least from what I remember provisionality being like. For my third game, I drew a 2200 and got 2.
It seems my provisionality is gone after only one game? Does anyone know the logistics of this?
