Game Cancelation/restart

Hi

My brother and I have been playing a game since december and a couple of moves ago I made a really bad mistake. For both our enjoyment of this now mammoth game, is it possible to reset the game to the move I made the mistake on?  Or would it be possible to freeze our points as they are, cancel this game and start again with the board set up as it was when I made the mistake?  Both my brother and I are in agreement that we want to cancel the last few moves.

Hoping you can help.

Cheers

Unfortunately not. At the beginning of the game, you can choose to make it a "takeback" game, but not if it's in progress.

My partner was put on vacatiom but cannot get off it.  He hasn't played with Chess.here before and cannot get back to the games.  He is Australia and I don't think he is able to come off lvacation.  Also I have mentioned that he is not getting a board to play on.  He didn't know anything about vacations how can I help him?

Not really a chess blunder when its a matter of my baby son making the move for me, more of a technology meets parenting blunder.

Is a takeback game rated or unrated?
