Game displays in news section not completing

Ok, maybe I just don't know what I'm looking at... but, when I read the news section about the Chess tournaments going on right now, I'm very interested to see the games for example here... http://www.chess.com/news/tight-at-the-top-in-tata-9534

However, when I run through the moves of the game, they do NOT go all the way to checkmate, and in fact they do not even get to the point of one player having a dominant position when they hit the end , at least in my opinion. In fact, after checking more closely, I found the games all ended with both sides having identical material on the board !! Just in differnt positions... so can someone explain ? Am I just incapable of seeing the finish that is leading to a side resigning, or is there a problem with the way these games are being shown.

Thanks!

These days, high level games very rarely go to mate.  Taking a quick look through the games on that page, I can see why resignations would have occurred in just about every (non-drawn) game.  That's not to say that I would resign there in those games.  At our level, mistakes are more likely to occur.  Let's take the first game as an example:

Gotta be honest, I still dont see it at all. Im not saying your wrong, but I would really like some more elaboration on this topic. In the article, it is stated that LAmi makes a blunder.. where exactly is this blunder ? Shouldnt we at least see SOME material difference ? As it stands, they are identical, how could this lead to a resignation ? Not only that but it is blacks move, lets just say he pushes Nxc3..would this not put black at a material advantage, without any major threat..? Id just really like to understand what is going on. I just cant fathom a game being resigned, when they are materially equivalent, and there is no forced checkmate on the board. Thanks for your insight.
