Game of the Week and Daily Puzzle archives?

Are the Games of the Week and Daily Puzzles archived somewhere? When Chess.com refers to Games Archives, does that mean just your own games? Other members games?

It depends. When you're checking your own profile, the Games Archives shows your own games. But when you're looking at someone else's profile, it'll be the games of someone else's (I think!).

Unfortunately the Game of the Week articles are not archived anywhere. As for the Daily Puzzles the only place which has all the past Daily Puzzles is the "Daily Puzzle" forum (http://www.chess.com/forum/category/daily-puzzles)

Gee, what would it take to get someone to archive the Games of the Week? I mean, they're not simply being "thrown away," are they? Someone went to the trouble of annotating them; seems like they should be kept available, at least as .pgn files, no? I'd sure like to download all the GOTW as .pgn files, especially since I can't always get online.

You should be able to search through the Chess Articles page (http://www.chess.com/articles) to find old Game of the Week articles but we do not have any organized way of keeping these Game of the Week articles archived, although we will think about creating an archive for this.

Thanks, Patzer. You've put me on to two webpages I wouldn't have thought of, and they're both helpful. Chess.com has a really complex site full of pages; it's going to take a while to get familiar with all the features. That's good! It means there's lots to do here. Very glad I joined, and very glad I subscribed to Mentor. Wish I'd found Chess.com long ago!
