The servers here in India run on American web infrastructure and website security company, Cloudflare. These servers keep crashing routinely for some reason. Even the Chess Olympiad Final between Russia and India was ruined because of it. I don't know if this is the only problem, but I can assure you, normal accounts cannot abort games when they feel like it.

I have the same problem right now with a player from India. When he got into the worst situation suddenly the game is aborted. I wonder is there anyone who takes care of it at chess.com ?

There was a server restart. All games get aborted when that happens.
Game aborted by a losing opponent after around 10 minutes of playing. See Screen capture attached. It happened to me before. How's that possible? It was not a server reboot as I was able to immediately start another game with a different player. 
how can someone that has very slim chances of winning a game abort the game in the middle of the game?????
the same thing just happened with me, 15 mins back or so

There was a scheduled live server restart.

Happened to me to just now. I think someone is twicking the system to avoid loosing

It was either the Live server restarting or an Arena game and the Arena ended.

I was playing a game with a person whose rating were decent higher than me and I was about to win. Suddenly game stopped with a message that the game aborted. How is it possible???
