Gold status benefits

Hello everyone.

I’ve been a gold member for over a year now, and I’ve noticed online that gold status should have access to unlimited puzzles, puzzle rush / battle and lessons.
However, my puzzles are limited to 25, my puzzle rush / battle is limited to 5, and my lessons seem to be limited to 3 a week.

Am I missing something?

Memberships purchased before September 1st, 2022 are on old plans with different features and pricing. The old Gold subscription didn't have unlimited puzzles.

 

The new plan does but also has a higher price.

Ok. So even though it renewed in December it did not upgrade the features to the new package.
Am I able to upgrade to this new price?
Otherwise how do I ensure my subscription does not renew?

The plans didn't change, so your renewal was on the old plan and pricing. 

 

You can contact support if you would like to be on the new plan. The price is higher, so I don't know exactly how that is handled, but they should be able to get it switched.

I believe if you click on the membership icon - cancel renewal that may work

If you cancel your membership and then buy gold again you should get those new benefits. I am currently using platinum from 2020 so many users benefit from membership not automatically updating to newer plans.

If you add something in the serch box or click the search icon the header on the window will have an Ask option. Clicking that will allow you to open a ticket.

The alternative is to email support@chess.com from the email account on your account here.
