There's already an app for Android phones, but it seems from my experience, and the experience of other users, that the app is a bit buggy. See this thread:

well, I guess it's a Java app, not specific for android but it works most of the time ;) hope this helps!
Thanks! I'll take a look, I am curious.
On a side note: I just checked out the new T-Mobile myTouch today looks interesting.
Oh, I see. This is the midlet application. I tried getting that to work earlier but could not find a midlet application in the marketplace. I saw a comment on the thread with the developers' name and have downloaded the runtime, I'll try again.
Thanks for the referral!
Where is the chess.com iphone app?
I searched the app store today and didn't see it.
Also, when I go to http://www.chess.com/mobile in my iphone safari browser it just renders in HTML source, so I can't download the java applet.
I'd love to be able to access my turn based games from my iphone!
The iPhone app is currently in late stages of beta testing. I'd guess it could be in the app store this month, but if I were putting money on it, I'd be more inclined to say early October - especially as it can take 2+ weeks for the app to show up once it's been submitted to Apple.
I think it'll be worth the wait. :)
Hello All,
I see that Chess.com has an iPhone app now(Good call...), are there plans for developing a gPhone app for Android based phones (IE: the T-Mobile G1)? Is the source code for the iPhone app availble so that Android developers can port it? (Yes, I am a coder whom is currently learning the Android development API, and would be interested in working on this)
