It’s not like that for his whole entire turn his time rises by five seconds

And then he started tricking me by making my time rise by five seconds but I found two differences my time wasn’t always rising by five seconds it would sometimes act normal for one second also my time rises more slowly then him.

Around the time you posted the initial post, you played a bunch of 5|5 games. That means each player had 5 minutes on the clock and get 5 seconds added to the clock after making a move.
