hi....my friend has had a heart attack and is in hospital at this current time and can not play his turns,can someone help in this matter to put his games on pause untill he can hopefully continue them when he hopefully gets better.....plz respond asap because he gonna lose some games by time out in less than 23 hours.....thanks....adrian....

Sorry to hear that. Go to http://www.chess.com/home/echess_settings and scroll down to the Vacation settings. Click "Pause my games". You can put in an explanation if you want.

Sorry to hear about your friend, Adrian.  Not saying staff doesn't read the forums, but you're always better off sending in a ticket.  Here's the link and I hope your friend makes a full recovery.

That is a possibility but I thought that if he wanted the action on behalf of another member, he would mentioned the friend's name.

Also, since adilovesbulls situation is the same as what is described (having a bunch of games with only 24 hours left), it seems more likely that what we are seeing is a non-playing friend using his friend's computer to log in.

That's why I gave the advice I gave.
