I was banned for 60 minutes from chess.com, will I only be able to access my account again after that period ?? I didn't break any rules and now I'm confused about what to do : (

You have only played two games here since you joined. No puzzles. Only 1 activity point.

I can't see how it is going to affect you.

You probably ran afoul of one of the autobots.  Not only do they have no humor, but they aren't real bright.  If I were to type the full fancy name for mankind, you know xxxx Sapiens, I'd get a warning and a short timeout.  Silly, eh?  Yeah, after a 60 minute break, all your chatting and/or playing privileges will return.

On the off chance that you don't already know this..

This account? It looks permanent.

If you write to support@chess.com and admit what you were doing, they can give you a second chance. (But if they do, don't blow it. They don't give third tries.)

Changing your name doesn't help. Stop playing on this account and write to support@chess.com and admit what you did and promise to never do it again.

And then wait. Until you hear from them. It may take a while.

Just wait.
