Hide background

The custom backgrounds are awesome, BUT sometimes the backgrounds of users or teams are interfering with the contrast of text on the page, and it becomes difficult to impossible to read it. Is there any way to hide another user / club background, and force your own background to remain?

Edit: Switching off the Light UI (bottom left corner) remove transparency of the text windows, and solves the contrast problem. Because the option is so easily available (on PC at least) it is fast to temporary switch Light UI off, and on.

Lately the the Light UI / dark UI (bottom left corner) option does not work. It changes the colour of some texts, but does not change the text windows from transparent to white any more.

Edit: It is inconsistent: in the forum it works, but in live chess it will successfully change from light mode to dark mode, but not back. That is the text window background will change from white to transparent when switching to Dark mode, but not back again. You then have to go to settings to put dark mode off again.

Edit: Feedback from Chess.com gives temporary workaround until bug is fixed:
use Play -> Play (https://www.chess.com/play/online)
instead of Play -> Live

Good idea. The club I am in is hard to read because of the picture in the background.
