Yes, shouldn't board colors and fonts and coordinates be the viewer's preference, rather than the author's? Just makes sense.

Yeah, I'm new to chess and reading coordinates really helps me understand the game better and faster especially when I'm reading games from people who have been playing for quite awhile.

While we're on this topic, ss there a way to show the coordinates on the Game Explorer board?
If you have them enabled for in your online games chess settings page, then the coordinates will appear on the games explorer aswell.
Many peole bloging, or writing dont turn on coordinates on the board when they explain a game. Personaly i like to see them, because it just reads quicker.
Maybe it would be nice if this could be a user specific setting, set by a cookie or so.
( And it would be realy great if we could change the font and color of it.
like lager yellow bold on a wooden board, and have an option for inside or outside the board for the coordinates position)
