For each type of game (e.g. online, blitz, 960), members have a separate rating.
Everybody's current game listing includes ALL types of games they play. (The symbol in the first column indicates the type of game.) This mixed listing can give the impression that someone's rating is jumping around - when it isn't.
In the archived games listsing, by contrast, games are separated out by type.
How are ratings recorded or annotated?
I came to the Venezuelan players listing and found this.
In the main list (and page), where players are listed from best to lowest rating, there is a player with a rating of 2078.
Now, coming to his last games, you find that he played with ratings arounf 1300. How?

--is he a great 2000 master or a simple 1300 player (like most of us) ¿
--is 2078 his initial rating a has he fell to 1300? (if so why is anybody allowed to register with a high false rating?=
--is he, when challenging, giving false information (low rrange of ratings) trying to catch low rarting players? (this would be a dirty trick).
Thanks
