How can I use the insights/missed Mate to improve?

One of my biggest problems right now is missing checkmates. Mates in 1, 2, etc. I see from the insights, it shows me what games and when these happened. How can I use this to take me back to the game at that point? Kind of like a puzzle?
I see I can click on the game and it takes me to the analysis, but I don't think it's at the precise place for the missed mate, nor does it allow me to take over the game at that point and reply it. Any idea how I can?
