Getting tired of all those trolls, want to have a cool icon in front of your name?

Quit your job now and apply for a job of moderator! If you are passionate about deleting all kinds of moronic and insulting comments, we have a really interesting offer for YOU right now!

P.S. You won't get paid, but it's free!

I know this thread is old, but I thought forum moderators were staff and therefore easily identifiable by the staff logo? If not, I think they should be identifiable with a label (at least here on the forums), like other internet forums do. It might make people think twice about causing trouble if they knew a moderator is watching the thread. The current system seems to be focused on dealing with trouble, rather than preventing it.

I heard rumors that being mentally tortured until you break is a very common routine in mod training

This is to prepare you for situations when you're outside, and you receive a report that someone made a stupid comment that needs to be deleted immediately, but you're a mile away from the nearest computer.

+Your entire family thinks you died in a car accident, that 1 mile includes climbing a mountain on the south pole without any clothing. gotta prepare 'em for the worst case scenario
