How come I'm only getting low rated chess puzzles?

How come I'm only getting offered these low rated puzzles?

There's a newer puzzle Difficulty setting. Try changing to Hard or Extra Hard

Does Chess com still not understand that they should notify users about new settings? I would have thought that the people who create a chess website should be kinda smarter

I set it to Extra Hard but they didn't get much harder. Now in the 1500 - 1600 level.

Considering the effectiveness of this feature I would not notify users about it also

This is non-sense. Puzzle difficulty should be adapted to user's ability (by default). I also get low difficulty puzzles without reason (well, the reason is the broken update of the website).

The problem is: when I fail a puzzle I get massive negative points, but when I pass one I get barely anything. I fail one and it takes me like 8 successes to recover the points.
