How do you enable persistent chat between players game to game?

There isn't a setting like that to enable. If you just rematch each time, the chat should stay until you stop. If you're talking about Daily, chat is tied to the game.

Thanks!  So I have two friends I'm playing with, and we keep rematching.  One has persistent chat and one does not.  Both show up under "Daily Games".  The only difference I see is one has been rated and the other unrated.  There's another difference, in perhaps how the games were started, that I'm missing?

No, Daily games should maintain the chat through the game. I have chats from games I played years ago.

That said, if chat gets disable, it may disappear completely, but in that case you wouldn't be able to chat anymore.

Of course I blundered that one  I carefully hit Rematch before doing anything else *crosses fingers*

Hrmm, still didn't work.

The chat for the game should always be there but once you hit rematch, it starts with a new chat. Live is the only one that carries over. You should be able to go into that finished game and add more or read the past chat.
