How do you report abusive players?

This guy is verbally abusive and unsportsmanlike. I'm not really sure what the site's rules stipulate but I'm sure this immature kid has violated a few of them. Normally I'd just let it go but he was particularly offensive rather than just rude.

through the help and support link at the bottom of the page.  click contact us and there is a catagry for reporting abuse.

i just block them - that is, after I insult them, their mother and their lineage at least once.

Lol yeah. i went to the page and it pretty much said that if its abusive chat, just black them. But i try to rise above internet bullying Sealed. Everyone can be a tough guy over a computer screen.

The normal solution is either:

a)Block the user

b)Disable chat (not reccomended)

I like to take an impression of their face with my fist and e-mail it to the admins

When the site first started (I was here about two or three months after the site started), there were less than 300 of us. Abuse wasn't an issue. As the site grew, it started to attract a lot of players from other chess sites. The more people you have, the greater the chances of abusive aplyers. Just inform the staff and they'll take care of it. I've had some real idiots who were extremely abusive. I just let it go. Some of these guys are banned from other chess sites as well. You should see the abusive language on some of the other chess sites. You have to have titanium skin just to deal with the nonsense...

Its like that silly playground rhyme from elementary school. "I am rubber and you are glue! Everything you say bounces off of me and sticks to YOU!"

Both football/soccer "red card" and baseball "out of the game" with those guys.

I prefer the mafia's "concrete shoes" method of denoting bad sportsmanship

Sticks and stones may break my bones, but nasty words will never hurt me.
