How to abort

Without checking closely, I signed up for a 14 day per move game. How can I abort it? No moves have been played yet.

My screen does not show "chat" only "disable chat"

I found the game you were talking about on your profile. Since it's part of a team match, it's impossible to abort and you need to resign if you don't want to play it, but if I were you, I'd play on and not let the team down.

Yeah, it's not possible to abort team matches... but if it were, the button to do so would be near where the "resign" button is.

I will go ahead and play, but at 14 days per move, and at my age, the game may abort itself in a few years! I'll read more carefully next time. Sorry.
