Well, all the staff positions are full, and artfizz is next in line on the waiting list for when someone dies, so your best bet is to start your chess.com career as artfizz's coffee-bringer, and from there you can work your way up to the rank of assistant. That way, you'll only have to kill two people in order to get in.
Disclaimer: As his assistant you will, of course, be making 20k less than artfizz receives for his services, and as coffee-bringer, 35k less. And artfizz gets paid in the form of a free gold membership that erik got him this one time.
EDIT: Oh, and I'm pretty sure all the staff live in a dungeon in Erik's basement.

What you've got to do is talk about how great of a staff member you would make, and ban anybody that disagrees with you from posting in your threads. Also, making a detention club for these people to repent might earn you some extra points.

Google translate missed on this one, so this is correct translation of what actually Tryst said in Croatian:
I think that staff members have a validity time of their position, so May would have to wait that someone passes by.
may = možda, or other conditional form ; May = svibanj (name of the month).
prolazi - pass by; pass away - umrijeti (or other similar form)
vijek trajanja = validity time (period) ; lifetime = doživotno

Is het toegestaan om in vreemde talen te spreken?
What if you only incapacitate a crewmember? Beat him/her in a coma for instance.
I feel the original question is left grossly unanswered.
