All supports questions we can ask light up in blue already selected for us to use to contact chess.com but there's no support to ask directly, why my game got abandoned when i didnt abandoned it nd i was waiting for my go to play
Thanks 4 knight but that don't help as I wasn't taking long time to play
It wasn't my move anyway
Anyway thanks to reply guys but it's to chess.com I want a response to my question

It doesn't matter if it's your move or not if you get disconnected. You have a certain amount of time to reconnect or the game is considered abandoned. I'm not entirely certain why it can happen in your opponent's turn though.
How do I know I got disconnected when I can still seeing my opponent clock clicking down too why is am disconnected when nothing wrong with my internet as utube working perfectly Nd didn't stop if disconnected from online wouldn't be possible to carry on watching utube example. About certain amount of of time to reconnect
Many times happened that I was playing black and was waiting for white to move first piece
From 10 to 15 minutes games at times but opponent was not moving. But when their ⏰ was down to near it count down as example under a minute it said game abandoned bit on my clock there was over 14 minutes left not under a minute so that doesn't make sense it got abandoned
Too usually when disconnected it will say under our username trying to reconnect but it wasn't saying anything as suchat the time
As such at the time meant to say previous message at end of it
So something I wait a full 15 minutes in front of game that not get to be played because opponent not playing Nd when their ⏰reaching to under a minute to it count down it says game abandoned but me to 14 minutes left nd it got abandoned nonsense Nd not fair

Getting disconnected means getting disconnected from the live server, not necessarily the Internet. There can be connection issues between you and the site and not issues between you and other sites.
There are times the client doesn't register a disconnect and in such cases, the click would continue running for your opponent if it was their turn. When the client finally reconnects, it loads the current game state from the server.
There are some things you can do to minimize issues on the client end, though if there's an issue between you and the site, there's not much anyone can do when that happens.

I wanted to ask chess.com how come my hame got abandoned and black won and white ( me) lost. I never abandoned the game too it was a 15 minutes games tourney and I did got left to play on my clock over 14 minutes and my internet was working well as utube on my tv was not interrupted, but theres no link to ask them direct question
