After a member of the support staff has replied to me via the Support window in the menu, how do I reply? I don't see a text box for me to type in.

Load the Support tool and click on Messages

There isn't a link. You open the support tool, and click that option on the bottom. If it starts with a Chessica chat, hit the < in the chat header first.
