how to resign without losing?

My opponent has paused for over a week at least 3 tines. My opponent is 27-1 and 1596. I’m 1100 and winning. Pretty sure my opponent got to 27-1 by making moves when ahead and then pausing the games he is losing. How can I get out of this game without taking a loss?
You either resign, or win the game.
At over 2 weeks per his move in a 7 day game, this may take a while
