no, i don't think that's possible, you could definetely play with the board on your own, but... maybe you should submit somtething about it.

at present, to do that, you would have to play towards that position on purpose with your friend. the moves can even be illogical as long as you are agreed on what position you want to reach. i think you'll find it's not that hard to do actually!
