Huge problems with time in live chess

over the last week I have been having tons of flashing green/red/yellow squares and connection interuptions. Basically, I can't play live anymore becuase I'll lose up to 25 seconds on a move. What is going on? it's not a simple bad internet speed thing. I'll start games with a green square, then quickly I'll go red, the other guys square starts flashing, connection interupted, and I'm down 25 seconds. What gives?

The same here ( I am in Bellingham, WA ). Connection interruptions, weird pieces behavior and cannot promote pons. I am using Win7 and Mozilla.

I'm on a mac running both crome and safari BTW. My speed test results: 

download is 24.02 Mbps, upload 8.42 Mbps. is there something else I need to know/test?

I have no idea. I tested my internet connection speed ( server is in Seattle ) and got very low numbers. Hopefully somebody from chess.com will figure this out.
