i cant send text.

My opponent complimented a move. i was not able to respond via text.My screen says start sound which you must be a friend to do.I used to text with my opponents all the time.is this no longer an option offered?

I've had occasional flakiness when trying to send a message in Live Chess. Usually it starts working  after a couple of attempts (or if I refresh the page, which I don't recommend if you've low on time!). When it fails I usually send them a message through their profile page after the game.

I've recently experienced thiis problem too. I liked the old method of being able to text your opponent and thank him for a good game much better.
