I can’t watch games on my chess mobile app

I have been trying to watch games on the chess app but every time I press watch it just sends me to my Home Screen. I tried watching on my computer it will allow me to watch specific time games but under all games it’s just blank. I have tried reinstalling but it didn’t work. I use an iPhone X
Every time I go to watch a game it kicks me off.
Same issue.I’m using an iPad (2018) and when I click on the ‘watch’ feature, the application crashes.
I cant watch professional play.. iPhone 11
Same issue here as well. When I click on “Watch” on both my iphone & ipad, the app shuts down. The watch feature on my PC like yours is blank. I’m curious if this issue is site-wide? Or if it is just an issue for some of us? I really hope they aren’t going to change that feature to paid-memberships only.
Thank you for the clarification. I was about to purchase a membership but held off once this started happening. Hopefully it is just a bug-fix that they will soon fix. It’s my morning-coffee time entertainment!

It's happening on the website unless the type of game is changed.
Staff is aware.
Update the app fixes it
I had this problem at the previous update, and it has now recurred. Are there any new fixes in the offing?

This issue is back as of December 2023. Watching games not possible on iPhone and iPad.

Yep, sometime today they have fixed it (until the next time they’ll break it again, that is)

I mentioned to support that this feature is completely missing on the web version. Would be extremely easy to add this, it seems. Odd to not have a place to watch games on chess.com.

You can watch games on the website and it's been possible ever since I've been a member.
